Hello everyone!
This is a great forum you are a part of and I'm new to the scene. My question is regarding fitment. I have a Hemi Orange 2010 R/T Challenger. I was on the Yearone site and was checking out their Black Hood Decal with the "R/T" cutout on the front. This decal lays on the entire raised portion of the hood. It came on the 1971 R/T's. I know that my hood is very simular to the 70-71 hoods from back in the day and was wondering if this would fit my car? I'm not sure on the overall length/width of the two in comparision. I think it would look pretty hot with the orange letters popping through.

Thanks for your responses,
Respectfully,
Woody

I did the 70 style on my car. The Stock 70/71 ones won't fit. But you can get one just like it from Autoguy... or other sites.

Devil/Ryan that looks great! I thought about putting the hood sticker on, but didn't know what it would look like with my R/T stripes. I think it rocks. Where did you order your hood Decal from?

:thumbsup:Ryan,
Thanks a bunch for your quick reply and for the pictures. You have validated my opinion that the hood decal is the right call to bring my hot rod to the next level! It looks pretty sexy! One more question, when I bought my R/T, it came stock w/the R/T decal that draped off the hood and onto the front fender. I had the dealership take that one off and put the same retro one you have on yours. I'm noticing you have the short strip extensions on the nose cone corners where my stripes start at the fender. Where did you get your decals at? Once again, thanks for sharing !!:redcap::redcap:

I'm interested. The text I want is an exact replica of the 1971 Hood Decal that has the R/T letters cut out at the start of the hood. I'm looking for the same size and same design. Can you accomidate?

Glad you guys like it. I have a 71 and that is the way it will look.

I got the hood stripe from looking around online... but Autoguy is the only one that makes faithful updated hood stripes with the "R/T" cutouts like the 71.

The side stripe "extensions" I got from Autoguy above.

You can see all the pictures below.

I'm sold brother, I just sent Rider Graphics a note to let them know I'm interested. The stripes appear to be of great quality the the customer feedback is super. My ride is Hemi Orange so the pictures I have attached will be the look. I addition, I have already taken off the factory spoiler and have installed the Go Wing. I think these additions will round my ride out.

Here’s the deal: If I purchase the “5” hood decal kit, I want to make sure I get the R/T text as in the below picture? I copied this off of their Customer Gallery page. This is my color car and I have the Factory slash decals as shown in this picture. For all practical purposes, this picture will be my identical hood with this addition. I obviously want the finish of the stripes to match my Factory Decal finish. I do like how the nose extension borders around the Dodge Ram emblem.

I had the dealership take off the R/T decal that came original on my front fenders and had them install the OEM Classic R/T stripes down the sides. I chose to leave the two slash extensions on the hood which is why my hood will mirror the one in this picture. I want to also purchase the below pictured extension kits for the front nose cone and the rear quarter panel.
