I have a SideMarker bulb out and purchased 4 new bulbs. I ran into a big issue, all 4 look like this!

I tried unsuccessfully to remove all of them and failed on every one.
Please provide all ideas on removing or just replacing.
Thanks in advance .....J

My Ram dually side marker lights were getting the sockets over heated like that and I replaced them with LEDs. LED will be a lot cooler running bulb. Just a thought if you can get those bulbs out. Dielectric grease will also help the bulb from getting stuck in the socket.

I have had a couple get stuck pretty good (never melted or anything). I’ve just used some pliers lightly grabbing them and twisting. Make sure you don’t crunch the plastic and know which way are supposed to turn lol.

WORKED PERFECTLY with the glove, had no idea. Right front broke off but fished it out with needle nose. (10 minute job)

Thanks again CUDA :)

Did you go back with LEDs?

I did. I was not at all excited about the obvious heat scarring evident on my sockets.
