Regarding my 2009 B5 Blue SRT 8. Did anyone ever post any final production numbers? I am considering a new 2011 392, but am hesitant to give up my B5.

2010 B5 Blue

As far as I know, the B5 Spring Specials were supposed to only be built for 09. But I currently have on hold a 2010 B5 SRT. The window sticker looks like this http://www.dodge.com/hostc/getWindowStickerPdf.do?vin=2B3CJ7DW5AH139153 (copy link to new window to view as pdf) It is my understanding that the vehicles tagged as 2010 were the ones that were on the line when Chrysler went into bankruptcy, and once production resumed that some of the cars that started down the line were converted into 2010’s. My question is this, how rare is this car? I know that the 153 number is based upon the build schedule, but how many 2010 B5 Blue SRTs were actually built? Or is this a car that shouldn’t exist? Anyone?

I believe they built B5's in 2010 for 2 months. Unfortunately I really thought being 1 of 153 was pretty cool, until Dodge said they were making them again in 2010. I believe they made the 2010's because all the people who ordered them in 2009 didn't receive them because the plants closed down.

So 1 of 153 in 2009 is true, but 1 of ? overall seems to be unknown. On top of that, I am unsure if the car has any additional value at this point over any other color. I mean it's the same car, just a different color. My B5 is beautiful, but the 392 has my eye now. It's doubtful I will be handing on to my B5 for much longer.

I wish I had a B5, that was my first choice. Unfortunately, they closed the order banks for it before I was ready to order.

If it were me I'd just get a stroker or FI to cure the horsepower bug; personally, I wouldn't give up a B5 for the world.

The 2009 B5 Blue SRT8 spring special production was, 83 automatics, and 153 6 speeds. I have not seen any 2010 numbers.
