So whenever I drive my car and stomp on it (with the engine already warmed up) it will shoot the rpms up as it should but the speed of the car itself is delayed. Also whenever I try to do a burnout with (tc off) it doesn’t let me go above 2,000 rpms for some reason. Any suggestions? Also cranks a little longer than normal whenever it’s a cold start

  1. How many miles on the engine?
  2. Has the transmission fluid & filter ever been changed?
  3. Is the Check Engine Light illuminated while you drive?
  4. Have you checked to see if any DTCs are stored in the PCM?
  5. What is the condition of the general maintenance items like spark plugs, air filter, etc.?
