Does anyone have the production #`s for the 2010 model year, or have they been posted already.
Would like to know how many of ours were made.

Looks like they sold about 36,791 Challengers this year. 42% more than last year.

Sounds like good news to me.

They should thank Dexter for the cool voice overs :)

2010 Challenger production numbers will be higher than 36,791. This number represents sales from Dec 2009 to Dec 2010 and not production numbers, there are still many unsold 2010 Challengers sitting on dealer lots. 2010 Challenger production lasted approx 16 months starting in July 2009 and continuing up until Nov 2010. I'm GUESSING that 2010 Challenger production numbers will be in the area of 50,000.

Good point... a fair amount of that 2009 figure are probably sales of 2010s.
Remember how quickly the B5 Challenger's changed from 2009 to 2010 models.

Thanks for the feedback. Does anybody know, if there are detailed specification about production numbers available? Such as how many of each model /colors built in 2010. Actually all years. Since the Challengers are instant classics, it would be great for the owners to know these figures, and it should be easy enough for production to list them somewhere.

Once Chrysler came out of bankruptcy they stopped publishing the breakdown of color, trim level, transmission info. Many have asked them and the answer is they do not provide that level of detail anymore.

Go to www.allpar.com for a complete listing of production numbers, including the breakdowns ie. model, color, trim level, auto, manual, etc for 2008 & 2009.
Hopefully they will post the 2010 numbers some time soon. There is a wealth of info about our cars over there.

As stated in the post above this one... good luck with that.
Since FIAT took over they feel there is no need to give those figures to anyone.

I can't even begin to see the reasoning in that, as you know they keep it for Marketing decisions.
But for some reason the new masters have a woody against sharing :(

Those 2009 numbers are not accurate. They only go through the shutdown for Bankruptcy.
