does not look like it from the pictures but does the mat cover the foot rest on the driver's side? I have seen mats for other cars have that option which to me is a necessity.

ive had mine in the car since saturday. i must say that I like these mats and would recommend them to anyone that needs to protect their carpet.. these cover the flat/horizontal carpet space well and they are definitely a good looking set of mats.

Ill comment on their protection abilities once we get some real snow.
