My buddy just got a solo exhaust for his RT, I was wondering how easy or hard it would be to put his old factory RT on my V6? Would it make a difference? Thanks

I would think the swap would be straight forward since the 2011 already has dual exhaust. Have you compared pipe diameters between the two systems?

no i need to get the specs. to see if it opens it up in diameter any. let you know what I find out.

unless he has the 6-speed exhaust, don't waste your time changing it out.

Just changed mine out, put an RT 6 Speed exhaust on; love the look and the sound when you get on it. Sound is mellow at cruising speeds.

SilverFox – If the tubing diameter sizes and configuration vary, it’s possible you lost velocity in the exhaust system which causes power loss, especially on the low end. Did you notice a difference in power?
To keep proper velocity and increase power we separated the system at the muffler.
