If you are thinking of doing mods, and money is not an issue then the R/T for sure, it is going to a long while before you get suff or good stuff for the 2011 SE. If you are just not happy with the 250 HP, want dual exhuast the revised suspension, change options and color then the 2011 SE is a great car. Gut feeling, based on your wanting a turbo kit, you may look into some performance in the future, I think the hemi will give you a firm base to build on. Even if you have to save for a few years. So I really can't see trading in a 2010 SE on a 2011 SE.

For me DWB is the only color for me, so I'll keep mine for a while. I do admit the pink look good in real life, I have not seen the Orange or Green.

I'll make you a good deal on a 2010 SE.

Based on your previous posts I get the impression that you would be happier with an R/T than an SE. Since most of your questions involved increasing horsepower just start with an R/T. This is especially true if you planned on paying some one else to do all the work you have asked about.

decide how much you WANT to spend. Buy the best in that price range.

I agree with tf34mech, most of your posts seem to have been directed towards power and performance upgrades. I think if you can get the deal you want, RT is your choice. If not we will still welcome you in the SE forum and you will still have 50 more HP in the new SE. :bigthumb:

I was going after an SE, until I priced one out with what I wanted. Be sure to do the "Build your own" on the Dodge site and see what your SE would cost. Once I added the things I really wanted (leather seats, remote start, etc.) the price difference wasn't nearly as much as I thought it would be. The RT comes with a lot of good stuff as standard equipment.
And the gas mileage is almost identical.

If you are more interested in the looks of the car and don't need the power, get the SE. It has everything the 2010 R/T had for features. It you want the power and just the feeling of looking at the R/T badge in the grille, then get the R/T.

When I bought my 2010 SE last month, I wish that I had taken a closer look at the 2011 SE or had gone onto this site before shopping. I went by what the dealer said and that there was not much difference between the two. All of the $ incentives were with the 2010, so that's what I purchased.

I love my new SE, however, 50 more HP would have been huge. Unfortunately, the R/T was out of my price range. I haven't driven the 2011, but if you can't make the significant jump in price for an R/T, I think that it would be a nice improvement. Just don't loose your shirt on a trade-in...

Good luck.

Hi, Just bought a 2011 SE Rallye a month ago and compared to the 2010's this is a different car. The New Pentastar engine which has already won awards is very smooth and I was blown away by the 305 HP. This engine is loving this car and she sounds great. I was getting over 29 mph on the highway already. If you are going to drive your Challenger every day then go with the SE it is a GREAT car! The R/T is about 5 grand more plus the insurance premium is enough to scare me away with the hemi. It makes a big difference. Good luck!

I'm afraid to drive one... it might add $6k to my note.
