Took my 2011 SRT8 IA for its longest trip ever from Panama City, FL to Gatlinburg, TN via the Smokey Mountains. Hit the 25K mark finally. Hit a ton of infamous Love Bugs in Alabama. Went through a car wash in Helen, GA. Stripe decals on the front bumper are toast!

Wondering how many others have issues keeping these factory decal stripes intact?

I never encountered this problem. The hood stripes on my 2009 SRT are like new. I keep them looking like that by always hand-washing my car and occasionally applying Meguiars Ultimate Detail Spray.

If you have to use an automatic car wash, try to find a touchless one.

My hood stripes are fine. Its the stripes on the front bumper that have issues...
