^^^^ I think the only actual SE challengers are 09/10 U.S. sold V6 models.
Canadian 09/10 V6's where SXT's and I think the designation changed to SXT across the board in 2011 with the switch to the Pentastar

I had a 2011 SE Challenger, (with the pentastar engine) the change occurred in 2012, when all v6's became sxt's. Sorry OP I can't help with the part, but I'm curious, what happened that you need to know about it?

Our 2011 SE was not a Rallye, but did have the duel exhaust (all pentastar engines have them), leather steering wheel, as well as leather shifter knob, armrests, and center console armrest, 18 in wheels, keyless entry, 6 speakers, all the airbags and the chrome gas door. I was considering buying a used 2010 SE, but starting in 2011, the SE's got all that plus the improved suspension that came out in 2011. From what I understand in 2011 the SE's were American sold, the sxt's, Canadian. If you have a 2011 SXT, it's Canadian, and must have migrated south for the winter, and then stayed.

Figured it was sxt since there were several big websites referring to it as a sxt and dealer refered to it as an sxt so not sure what to say....guess your the expert on it
As I said, when shopping in 2011, I was astounded at the differences between the 2009,10 SE's and the 2011. All the stuff mentioned earlier, plus hood gas struts, and of course, the new engine with 50 more hp. Oh yeah, the steering wheel was new, a lot of people hated the old steering wheel, some called it a "wagon wheel". I guess since dodge brought the SE up to the sxt's level, in 2012 they just called them all "sxt's". I wasn't going to save all that much buying a 2010 either, maybe $1000 total, and that was a used car.

I'm not surprised about your dealer, you're lucky he didn't call it a Charger.
