What can cause my car to inch forward with clutch depressed and shifter will not come out 1st gear? FYI it only does it when going up my drive way into my garage, out and about driving on street never does it. Car shifts perfectly all gears. Also have a Barton shifter that came with the vehicle when I bought it.

I had a pickup that would behave similarly. It was getting air in the hydraulic line. Have you seen signs of hydraulic fluid leaking? I never did...

You need to pull the transmission and clutch clean the rust, grime and old grease off the input shaft splines and clutch disc splines. Then re-grease the splines and re-install. The captured disc in the pressure plate is not disengaging all the way(sticking), it will keep getting worse till the trans get harder to shift or feels like the clutch is not disengaging at all, it's a common problem with the transmission and clutches in these cars.
