I have a 2012 Challenger and the windshield wipers don't work at all. I took it to 2 dealerships. 1 told me i needed a new tipm. They didn't have it and said i have to find one. I found one an exact match #68105528ab and instead of waiting over 2 weeks for an appointment i went to another dealership to get it installed. They install it and tell me everything is ok. i go to pick it up and valet the ask me why the wipers wont stop wiping. They bring it back in and after a while tell me i need a tipm with body harness 68080009ae?! Mind you this car was in an accident before i bought it. I took it to a mechanic before the dealers and he made the wipers act like their acting now. What do you think steering column relay or tipm?

What happened in between the time the mechanic worked on it, leaving the wipers continuously wiping, and the time you took it to the first dealership for the wipers not working at all?

There is a relay in the TIPM which controls the wiper circuit. Pull it and see if that stops the wipers from continually wiping. If it does, I don’t think the TIPM is the problem.

Swap that wiper relay with any other relay in the TIPM. Does that change the wiper behavior at all? If it fixes the wipers, the relay itself may be the problem. Replace it with a new one (but only after swapping the relays back to their original locations) and see if that cures the problem.

Well i got the car, the one thing i neglected to check was the wiper controls. You think the used car dealer would sell you a car with an important safty feature working. One day when it was raining i tried to use the wiper controls and nothing...completely dead. the 2nd dealership that installed the new tipm, the wipers where wiping when they started the car. they showed me how to remove the fuse/relay so it would stop wiping. I had already scheduled with the 1st dealer repair shop weeks ago is coming up Thursday, So i guess ill wait and see if i need a new body harness.
