I'm not sure if this has been covered on the site or not. As you may recall during the 2012 Charger SRT8 unveiling Ralph Gilles talked about more indepth Performance pages. Well I was able to snap these up at a Ride and Drive event in Canada back in November. Some pics are blurry because I took them quick with my Blackberry and I wasn't sure if I was allowed to or not. But they are amazing and I feel its time to show the world! I have a feeling you'll be able to get this in a 2012+ Challenger. But I imagine ALL SRT's will have this treatment (along with the MASSIVE 8.4 inch touch screen radio)....

Check out the details on this bad boy!

Very cool. I think most Dodge's are going to get a touch screen of some kind in the future.

Love it. Glad they're catching up a bit. Looks like they took some cues from the Polyphony Digital designed GT-R information display (a good good thing).

Saw a video the other day of the new Explorer gauges as well... that car is pure gadgetporn-mobile. (Ugly as hell on the outside though - imo)

Only static gauge is the speedometer - those are fully configurable LCD's flanking it. Stereo and Nav are similarly sexy-riffic. This is not a concept. You can buy one. I think it flies too. By itself.

The thing that worries me is with the rate of technical development it may seem dated in 5-10 years. Like the nav in my 2005 300c or factory 8 track from the 70's. For me analog gauges are classic and timeless.

Very kewl looking. I especially like the layout for drag times that incorporates a time slip as the background pic. Nice touch there.

It would appear that someone at Dodge is readily familiar with the Torque app for Droid and the Rev app for the iPhone.

Why does the first screen say www.SRT.com? That takes you to a communication company site. It should say www.drivesrt.com and they need to update that site anyway :)

12.1 @ 120? Was that just estimated or is this new charger even faster than we think the 392 is capable of out of the box? Or are these new engines that downtuned that this was an initial tune that had to be made a bit more conservative?

Looks awesome. Not sure if I'd ever figure out all it's capabilities though. Any info on the installation compatibility with MyGig equipped Challengers?

This was featured as an 'interactive tutorial' on a computer screen. It allows you to go through the new uconnect touch screens, this wasn't featured in a vehicle. There were five different monitors and only one had the SRT Performance Pages on it. I love the time slip you get as well as the screen that shows you how much HP and TQ you're using.

At speed, the last thing I want to be doing is glancing anywhere but ahead. My brother in law had a Z06 with heads up display. Took me awhile to get used to it but I found myself never looking down at the guages in short order. Hey, it works for fighter pilots who are known to go FAST!:browsmiley:

Seems like this is more of an after-run type thing. Run a quarter mile, check it when you stop, 0-60 check it when you stop ect, same as it is now.

I test drove a McLaren Grand Prix Turbo back in the day with a HUD and loved the heads up speedometer. The rest could end up being a distraction but the speedo is nice.

As for the OP love the screen displaying the gauge. Although they should color them up a bit so you could differentiate the gauges when they're in your peripheral vision.

So wait is this going to be kind of like the RPD in cobalt SS's? This will actually be in the car or is it something on the web I have to download info to from my phone, if I had a smart phone and the application? i'm a little lost, can someone explain this feature to me? I've always been a stripper car guy so I'm just getting used to cruise control and power windows.

You mean the whole system? It's a new radio to possibly replace the MyGig unit for the future model Chrysler products. A HUD displays your gauges on the windshield.

Here's a picture of the HUD on the Camaro. There are aftermarket HUDs you can install on the Challenger windshield but it's easier to just get a gauge like the RPD for the Challenger if you really think it's a necessity to have a speedo closer to the road.
