Hello guys i'm looking to get my hands on a SRT soon but i'm caught up between a 2012 and a 2014. Both car's have relatively low mileage (under 30 each)and its a 4000 dollar price difference. Is there really much of a difference between the two?

Nope, not much difference. 2011-2014 are very similar. There may be color options that changed, and the 2014 may have some warranty left....?

If you like the color and the transmission, go with the 2011 model and save the $4,000 for some mods.

The 2012 has 470 HP and the 2014 has 485 HP but that's not a difference in the engine. The 2014 has electric power steering where as the 2012 is hydraulic driven by the engine. Other than that there's next to no difference besides color options.

The '12 - '14 SRT 392 have the same 470hp rating and hydraulic p/s was used on all 392s during that period.

Those models the OP asked about are the same - early build '12 had two-mode shock settings and later '12 had the 3-mode as it continued through the years.

Its the '15+ where the hp rating increased, faster steering gear ratio and electric p/s system.
