I have the uconnect with the digital radio and most of time it can't even understand the word yes. Is there a upgrade for the software or a fix for this? Also is there an app to remote start it, it does not have remote start on my key fob.

If you don't have a remote start button on your FOB, then your only option is an after market remote starter. An app won't solve your problem.

Sorry to hear about your concerns with your vehicle! You can enter your VIN here to check for any software update for your Uconnect system: https://www.driveuconnect.com/support/software-update.html. As @MEKrunner stated above if you do not have a factory remote start system you will not have the ability to start your vehicle from the Uconnect App.

Go through the voice training steps in the system - this may help it recognize your pattern of speech.

My '09 would have its moments - one day I was particularly "wound up" with it and used a storm of 4 letter words at it - it then switched itself to French (she was getting even with me I guess...)

Anyway - had to keep say English, English, etc and it finally asked me if I wanted to switch languages.

I learned "Miss uConnect" doesn't take guff from anybody...

Sorry all that it took so long to respond!! And thanks for all the responses!!! I have the Uconnect 130 with SiriusXM from what I see in the users manual and it is just the old style digital radio. I will look for the updates and if not I'll see if I have re training steps to try and I'll let you know what I find. Thanks again!!
Looks like a remote start is what I'll have to get this summer thanks!!
