Hi all

I'm trying to establish which are the best brand and particular type (led, plasma etc plus specific luminance) of Halo's to buy and am seeing that since 2012 a lot of people have had problems with a lot of brands, e.g AAC, whilst some have had zero problems with buying full units online (ebay etc).

What I want to do is get ones similar as possible to the 2015 Hellcat and SRT photos, just a basic thin white line around both lights, not necessarily a big glow, just a brigh line that can be seen during the day.

Has anyone on here got Halo's that look the part? I've seen green, red, blue etc but I'm after a clean white look.

Also wanted to ask, if you buy an aftermarket OEM specification headlight assembly with Halo's, does it require removing the whole front clip to fit them? (link)

Cheers

Check out the ebay link above, those are the ones I'm talking about. I found that elsewhere on the forums by someone that said it was good. They didn't want to open their OEM headlights so bought new ones and stored their OEM ones.

I personally like the 2015 halos vs the eBay halos. The 2015 halos look more sleek and the slim halos looks much better than the thicker halos. Also the eBay halos have that small gap that doesn't shine at all. They should've flipped the halo upside down within the headlight housing so there's a continuous glow.

It would be nice if the 2015 headlights could be swapped in the 09-14

I agree. I'm sure whoever makes the lights for 2015 has made them already (thus the pics), I would just like to know who :)

Hey

So in short it turns out I was searching the wrong section, there are some juicy threads over in external modifications including a gem that took 20 minutes to read where at least 20 forum members have successfully installed amazing looking $50 kits in just minutes.

Here is the result:
