Got the plates today for my new 2015 Challenger R/T Classic. Right after I got them I realized how much I hate the idea of drilling holes in my front bumper to mount the front plate. So I looked around and don't see any good ideas for relocation on the 2015 since it has that giant eye in the middle of the lower grill. So I'll ask you guys. Got any ideas? I thought about moving it to one side or the other next to the eye, but I think that might not look like I want it to. Stupid California making me put a front plate on!!!

Here in Washington you can just leave your plate next to your seat. If you get pulled over grab that plate and slap it on the dash.... legal. Honestly most cops are not going to break your balls over that anyways. If they do nail you for it go to court and tell them you were waiting for the factory bracket. They will throw that out.

This will give you some what of an idea of how it will look. I put mine to one side because I have a camera in the center. I just went to Lowes and bought 4" long toggle bolts and fastened the stock bumper bracket to the lower grill.

Thank you for the replies and the photos. hdwrenchtx that looks good, but how have you not torn that off or bent it on a parking curb? My chinstrap barely clears a parking curb. I think that would be too low for my purposes

rajunz, that looks much nicer off to the side than I had imagined in my head :)

JB1 I live in a fairly small town with bored cops that are just looking for an excuse to pull you over. Especially at night, just to see if you're drunk. I work Swing Shift, so I am normally coming home at night when they're bored

surfnorthwest that is a GREAT idea!!!

What I did for my 2014 is installed nut inserts into the bumper/facia. Then I left the bracket off for the couple months to receive my new plates and everyone thought it was factory. Then if you ever take the bracket off for some reason, just stick decorative bolts into the nut inserts to dress it up. Beats just drilling holes in the bumper/facia.
