Hello everyone, new member here from Illinois who just came from the dealer yesterday and wanted to share the experience for those who are thinking of ordering the '15 Scat Pack. I arrived at the dealer with very helpful information regarding packages, options that I got from this forum. Dealer seemed a little unprepared for the ordering process and asked what I wanted on the order. After being prepared with prices/options to make sure I didn't get gouged, he came back with the "SRT" expert for the dealership. I was quickly told by this expert that for some reason Dodge was limiting the Scat Pack and Hellcat to only 1 car each for each dealership in the beginning of this new model. I was then told that the best he could do for pricing was $50 under MSRP because of the availability, and he was being completely honest with me even though other dealers would probably not go under MSRP.

I went forward with the order and was told it would take 6-8 weeks, although they had no idea the exact time frame. I knew about the Hellcat being limited, but has anyone else heard anything about the Scat Pack being so limited? Sorry if this is a repost.

After haggling back and forth, walked out the door $44,900

Just spoke to my dealer and priced it out over the phone. Bacically list plus $200. Match prices given here by RC.

$40,892 plust $200 dealer fee. (They add dealer fees in florida)

Spoke about the HellCat. He may get 1 or 2 with 6 customers in line. Removing myself from the HC list and officially order the SC this weekend. Should have it the beginning of September.

Heres a kicker. Same discount (list plus $200) on a 2014 Core was $3500 more with the cloth interior and cheaper radio.

No issues with SP availability (shakers not available yet). HellCat is a different story.

Holy Crap - I just ordered mine yesterday. 6 spd with Appearance Group Option, I got employee price at $37,626.

If I didn't have employee price they were going to sell it to me at invoice (2 dealers in the area agreed to this for me).

Agree with above posters------should be NO PROB ordering. Cancel it and see another dealer to get a SC at invoice.

He was probably trying to (intentionally) confuse you with their initial allocation...which means his first truck load coming in might have only 1 Scat Pack on it, and was hoping to use that confusion to get some more $$$ out of you.

I've also found, in my experience talking to dealers, they are often the last to know...and if they don't know, they will make stuff up out of thin air because they think it makes them sound more professional than saying "I don't know, let me check".

I was shocked at how much the initial dealer rep didnt know about the upcoming model and even laughed when he pulled out the official 2015 Dodge Challenger brochure from the sales floor flipping thru it to find info

Hmm mine went on restriction. So I can't order until next allocation, that was on Tuesday when it happened.

The GM was giving me a deal, I'm expecting 42k for everything minus the SP Appearance and the moonroof, is that a good deal?

I got 1% below invoice on mine, I ended up buying off the lot, but I did find one guy at Huffines Lewisville who knew his stuff with options and ordering process. If anyone in the DFW area needs an honest salesman, I can give you his info. I bought from this dealership twice before. Although...the finance department are a bunch of crooks You have to know your stuff and not budge if they try to negotiate.

I ended up buying off the lot, I had to drive about an hour to Moritz CDJ, but that dealer gave me the price I wanted. I ended up walking out because they offered me $20K on my trade, but I wanted $24K. I walked. I was planning to just order what I wanted from the first dealer, but they called me the next Saturday and said OK. They gave me the Trade and my price, 1% below.

The point I'm trying to make, like dogs, they smell weakness and fear, if you stand firm and be patient, act like it does not matter to you if buy from them or not, then they will see your way.
