Makes since, seems like it would be hard to channel it to the breather and I think there is enough air for the intake coming off the light and breather box.

Airaid made a cold air system for the srt charger 2006 that used the hood scoop which is very similar to new hood on 2015 challenger srt. I would assume something in a few months

Didn't know the other light had intake but drivers side does and I've already tapped into it and added the MOPAR cold air intake.
Did you cut a hole in your intake box and direct that fresh air into it? Some guys are buying the Hellcat box, and the tube, and running that. According to the photos of that airbox, they say it is bigger, and has the hole in the side already. Also, look for the thread title "Where is that air coming from?" or something like that. A guy found out the area below the intake is not open to the outside, and by removing a brake duct, he now has fresh air coming from underneath. If you get a chance, review that T/A article I posted, it talks about the right air intake, and shows a photo of the engine and intake.

First, your car looks great.
Can you take some more photos of the engine compartment? I want to do the same thing with the light intake feeding into the airbox. I want to get an idea of what all went into the install.

Apache Emblem?

My apologies if I'm asking this question on the wrong page for I'm new to the forum.

I'm interested in putting an Apache emblem of some sort on the rear spoiler of my 2015 SRT. Has anyone seen an Apache emblem or know where I can get one made?

The best thing I can find are some Chevy emblems for the early 60s Apache truck, such as this cropped version pictured here:

No cutting but the MOPAR CAI box comes with a square hole that winds up being almost directly behind the air light. I had to put a round piece in a square hole essentially. Used a shower drain pvc piece and cut out the center.

Question-will moving that air duct create less air to the right front break for cooling??

I think this will show what you are looking for. Also shows the catch can I recently added.

Sorry the photos are not in an order to make better since but should help.

A little story that happened to me on the way home from a small car show last night. A late model GTO pulled up beside me at a light and I rolled downed my window and said hay, nice car. He said you going to get a Hell Cat, I said no, too much car for me. Guess he was making sure it was not one. I left and was just driving along and pulls right beside me and starts reving his motor I look over and not to my character, I kicked it in as he did. Spanked that GTO like he was standing still!!! I slow down and he pulls up again. I guess he thought he was in the wrong gear and he kicked it in again so I just stomped mine after he had gotten about a 1 second head start. Quickly spanked him again!!! He pulled off next turn to lick his wounds I guess.

Now, this is not me at all but he just put me in the mood I guess and we were on road all by ourselves. Love this car!:thumbsup:

Looking for input on suede insert leather seats. Pictures? How do you like them? Wear? Upkeep?
I like them alot!! Had the same seat in my 2014 RT. Can not say anything about long ware issues for the 14 model was only a year old when I traded. They are not as cold as all leather in the winter and you hold to you seat. You don't slide as easy as on leather so holds you real well. Easy to clean just vacuum like carpet. Now I have not spelt any mustard or whatever on them but don't know why I could not just clean up with some suede or carpet cleaner if I did.

I would think in the real long run (like 10 to 15 years) it would be fairly easy to have the inserts replaced at an upholstery shop.

Would I had rather had the $1700 leather upgrade, yea but not for $1700 more.

Yeah. $1700 is hard to tack on to what I am already going to pay. I guess if I don't like them I can get aftermarket. I asked my dealer to see what he could do for total price to offset the upgrade. Looking forward to my car either way.

Although I was trying to get black Laguna leather, I got the Nappa with suede leather seats and I'm so glad I did. The suede is outstanding, elegant, comfortable, not cool or hot but just right, and has just the right amount of grip. Plus the suede leather on the upper door panels is really cool.

As Currybob said, they are easy to clean, just vacuum, but I've also not had any liquid spills on it yet.

Trust me, both are nice!! Is the other worth $1700???? If I thought it were I would have gotten them on mine. Now if it had been $500, then different story.

Yeah... I'm in the process of ordering my SRT8.... Redline Red, Manual, Sunroof and all the other goodies it comes with. Just waiting on the right trade in value for my current vehicle. I think they are being strict on my trade in because I got a good deal on the SRT with USAA Car buying Service. Order was priced out to $48,648 before taxes / title, etc... USAA Car buying service has me at a guaranteed price of (with same options) $44,448 before taxes / titles, etc.. Thoughts?

This is a great article that highlights the SRT 392 from the Allpar site. There are also other new articles posted on their page about the whole press experience in Portland. Finally, a good, solid review of the SRT 392!:blueblob:https://www.allpar.com/reviews/15/SRT-track.html
Way late but thanks for the link. Decent review of the SRT 392 on track and comparing it to the Hellcat.
