I also was all set for a highly optioned SP Shaker but now I'm kinda digging the new air scope on the SRT (which also has the flatten bottom on steering wheel). The only draw back seems to be on the SP Shaker is the wait and on the SRT is the UGLY wheels!!!

I would like really to go with the SRT but don't think I can handle those wheels!!!!!!!!! ARGGGGG Don't know what to do now. I would hate to spend the money to change the wheels on a brand new high-end car.

I wonder if the dealer would swap wheels off a 14 SRT?? Didn't they change the tire size for 15?

Ooops.

You're probably right. I was going off of previous years (chargers) which didn't have the forward collision warning.

Maybe they are like the parking sensors? It's entirely possible that the sensor is still there even with a manual

^^^this exactly!!!

I also want the srt, but those wheels are killing it for me. I mean come on, not one wheel option?? The original wp3 wheel now available for scat pack is way better IMO!!

I'm with you on that Bones!!

I can handle the wp3 wheels much better. I think I have decided not let the wheels stop me on the SRT but will have to do something down the road about them. The rest of the car is just too nice and set up the way I like it.

The sound system on the SRT looks like it has 2 subs in the trunk?? I know there are lot more speakers anyone seen this??

I still like the SP and shaker hood but scoop on the SRT is pretty smooth. People might even think your are a Hell Cat and run for the hills Whahahha.

I'll take the SRT over the scat pack just get the laguna leather and the SRT hood. I'm sure the SRT suspension is nicer, but I really want the laguna leather, in sepia. I've found that the interior is what is most important to me, since I sit in a 45 minute commute, twice a day, 5 days a week. Comfort at that point, is everything.

But I also want to walk up to my car after work and be impressed every time, and I really like the SRT hood. The wheels on the other hand, so far, not my favorite. Have to see them in person, but I prefer my current 2011 SRT wheels from what I've seen.

I'm not buying until next Spring, so maybe somethings will change between now and then. We'll see, but so far, based on just MSRP, and since the A8 doesn't have a gas guzzler anymore, its not really going to cost me much more than what I paid for my 2011 to get into a new 2015 SRT. That is quite a nice surprise.

Is the new SRT hood functional....as in ports air directly to intake not just blow on valve covers?

Chrysler Video 2015 Silver/Blk Stripes SRT

That video is amazing (SRT in Billet Silver). I can watch it over and over. http://media.chrysler.com/mediacenter.do?method=viewVideo&videoGalleryTOList=151d9e95711842

I have always admired the SRT in Billet Silver. I think its an amazing color for this car. The very first Challenger SRT I saw in person about 5 years ago was Billet Silver and I was blown away.

As for the 2015, at first I wasn't impressed with the new SRT wheels, but they look awesome with the Billet Silver in that video.

I'm torn about the stripes. I think it looks good, but I keep going back and forth about whether it gives it that aggressive performance appearance, versus too much "boy racer" look for a 50k performance/muscle coupe. In other words, on one hand it makes it look meaner which I like, but on the other, maybe it "cheapens" it a bit? As I said, back and forth on this...

At first glance it definitely stands out and looks aggressive, but im wondering if after seeing it everyday, after a while it would be a bit too much. I'm wondering if the clean look of the Billet without stripes is the way to go or would it be too plain. Ugh... :) Thoughts?

Right now, im on the fence. In about 8 months, im buying either the 2015 Challenger SRT with 6 Speep Manual or the 2015 Chevy SS with the MRC and 6 Speed Manual. Yes, I know, two totally difference cars. Both will come out to about the same $$, give or take a few bucks. Decisions - Decisions. :SM030:

take a look under the hood of any new Camaro or even the SS....that engine is shoved under dash quite a bit....that alone turns me off from a service standpoint. Also with all the GM recalls I would avoid them like the plague.

I also kinda like the SRT striping but I'm not a kid anymore and like it better without, looks more elegant and says look at me because I'm beautiful and don't need heavy makeup.

Yep. This is what im saying. It looks aggressive and mean, but perhaps a little...too youthful for a 50k car? I don't want to offend those who like the stripes as I said, they do look good, but....

I keep seeing photos of some SRTs with the WP3 wheels which I like much better, maybe that is a choice for the SRT. It says it's option for SP but don't know why they are showing up on SRTs if they don't make them for it. Anyone having any info???? I really don't care for any of the SRTs wheels they are all the same actually just different colors.
