My wishful idea for a tail light mod it to have the trunk lid backup lights changed to red and operate as brake and turn. I know. In some states it is illegal to alter the backup lights. At any rate, the next thing is to make them sequential. This is the tricky bit as I don't know if the LED strips can be changed out. If not then just having the backup lights modded would be a start. I've added one GIF of the look I'm going for.
One more thing. A cheep way to try out the idea would be to add a red vinyl overlay to the backup lights and jump the wires from brake/turn to the backup ups. Anyone out there think this is worth a try?
