I have a 2016 sxt challenger with stock 18x7.5 Rims 235 Tires, I found some 20x10, 25+ offset rims for dirt cheap and was wondering if there would be problems running 285s on front and back on a v6 ?

Welcome to Challengertalk Lostmymind904. The 285s on 20x10 25+ will work on the rear, but not the front. Generally 9" 9 1/2" with 275s and 18+ or so will fit on the front. I'm certain some will be along with more precise info ;)

Thanks for the help would they still not fit with a spacer? I'm getting them for $45 a piece brand new theyre $200+ rims so for that price I need to make them fit lol , it's a steal and if I drop down to the 20x9 version for the front, id have to pay $200 apiece for them instead of $45

I have 20"x10" 25.5mm offset wheel on the rear of my Challenger with 275/40's I was wondering if they would fit the front as well. So I put them on the front and they fit without hitting any where but the upper control arm ball joint mounting stud was so close I did not think it would be safe to drive I also could not squeeze my pinky in between the tire and the steering knuckle. I would say that a 265/40 on a 20'X10" Wheel would be as large as I would try. 285's should work on a 20"x9.5.

I'm fine with going with a smaller tire a on the front as long as the actual wheel fits
without problems,
but Im also wondering if going with this large of a wheel in general would negatively effect performance? Thanks for the help

I'm running on 285/35 with my '15 SRT and stock 9.5" wheels with no problem. Bondurant uses 285's on all their track cars. My car is also lowered 1".
