I just got a 2017 Challenger with the 8.4Nav system. All the literature and images I see of the center screen, show the time being displayed at the top center in the status bar. My car doesn't show the time there, it's blank. It shows the compass direction and temperature settings etc, but no clock. Any idea how to get the time to display?

I looked, and it doesn't have that option in the list? I may have to go back to the dealer on Thursday and ask them. A bit frustrating. Thanks for the reply all the same.

Yeah that is weird, clock definitely supposed to be top on 17 just like 15 and 16. Only time my 16 does not show a clock is in Valet Mode.

Hey ProPilot74,

This is from the User Guide, if it helps:

"Clock Setting
To start the clock setting procedure, perform the following:
1. Push the MORE button on the faceplate. Next press the “Settings” button on the touchscreen and then press the “Clock and Date” button on the touchscreen.
2. Press the “Set Time” button on the touchscreen.
3. Press the “Up” or “Down” arrows to adjust the hours or minutes, then select the “AM” or “PM” button on the touchscreen. You can also select 12hr or 24hr format by pressing the desired button on the touchscreen.
4. Once the time is set, press the “Done” button on the touchscreen to exit the time screen.
NOTE:
In the Clock Setting Menu, you can also select “Display Clock”, which turns the clock display in the status bar on or off"

Kori, that is my problem, the option to "display clock " is missing in the settings menu. I'm thinking it's going to need to either be reset, or have a software update. I'll probably have to take it to the dealer tomorrow. Once it's fixed, I'll post the solution here.

Have you tried rebooting the system to see if that helps? Hold top right corner of the display (where the passenger temp is) until system restarts. Not saying it will fix it but worth a try.

Sp3cialk, I did try that yesterday. The reboot was successful, but it didn't fix the missing clock issue.

Dang man, just throwing out ideas to see if anything works for you. I have a 17 scat pack and I've noticed when I use carplay the clock is on the left side with the signal meter, kinda throws me off when I'm expecting it at the top.

Dealer couldn't get to it today, I made an appointment for 1st week of July (due to my schedule). Will update after that time.

Dealer reflashed the software and the clock is there now.
I got it home and played a little, and noticed that the on screen owners manual doesn't work anymore. It just says vehicle info not available. Looks like it will be another trip back to the dealer soon. Annoying for a new car.

A guy on YouTube did a review on the Challenger and mistakenly called it Unconnect, lol, but maybe some truth in that.

To be fair; all the Uconnect & Sirius Guardian functions work perfectly. Just the owners manual missing now. I'm guessing the data file wasn't uploaded when they reflashed.
