I'm wanting to beef up the sound of my exhaust. What's everyone opinions on doing a straight pipe? Or what would they do. I'm not really worried about performance just sound. I also can't spend a lot of money. Wife is wanting to save money as we are building our home. Any input or suggestions would be awesome.

If you run straight pipe you'll lose low end torque.

I just had the rear resonators at the bumper cut off and replaced the mid pipe mufflers with some Flowmaster Super 44's.
Nice little rumble at idle and sounds good when you floor it.......no interior drone on the highway at 70mph.

Paid $160 for the pair of Flowmasters and $160 for the install.
There are pages and pages of the Super 44's online, most sites are asking $88.00 each for the mufflers, I made an offer of $80.00 each and 2 sites accepted.

That's just gonna sound wonky fams. I don't think a whole lot of people are gonna enjoy that sound.. No hate. Just some engines sound goofy with straight pipe exhaust.

Straight pipes sound like garbage in my opinion.
