Hello,

I was driving to work today when I made a right hand turn into the parking lot. Both hands were on the wheel and suddenly the passenger side window goes all the way down. Go figure? A few days ago it happened but the window only went down about 6". At that time I thought I might have bumped the window switch but now I know I did not. What gives? It's a sporadic thing but I've only had the car 2 weeks. Anyone ever hear of this ghost window issue?

Any chance water is in the passenger door? With other cars with which I am more familiar ghost/phantom behavior like doors locking/unlocking or window going down (or up) can be caused by water collecting in the door.

You probably need to remove the door panel and check for water. If you find none also check for something loose.

The better answer is the car is under warranty and take it to a dealer to look at it not tear it apart it yourself.
and if you do tear it apart and can't fix it and the dealer finds out, they will VOID your warranty.
