Hello,

I am in between 2 different challengers: a 2017 and 2016 Scat Pack that both have equally low miles (<5K). The 2016 is priced a few thousand cheaper than the 2017 and also comes with a lifetime warranty from the dealer while the 2017 does not.

I know the 2017 comes with the updated Uconnect (Android Auto as well). The question, is there anything else that I am losing by going with the 2016 instead of 2017? Do you guys think the 2017 Uconnect is that much better than the 2016 and I will regret it?

Thanks for the insight!

Get the 2016 as the Uconnect is actually better. The 2017+ cars are having major issues.

With all the posts of issues regarding the '17 / '18 uConnect - I'd get the '16.

It works (just don't download any updates - some bugs with current v. 17.11.07 software) there's a lot of issues with the hardware and the Apply Car Play is having issues as well.

I have a 17' and am an avid user of Android Auto. I purposely bought the 17' instead of the 16' because of Android Auto. I don't like paying someone $150+ for an updated navigation map. I also have 4500k miles so far and no issues to report other than TPMS sensor going out.

Other than the new head unit (and with it's hardware issues, it's not a selling point. No auto up on 17's...not any 18's yet...) there is little difference. Same miles, and a lifetime warranty? I'd get the 16. A Guy
