I have a 2022 GT that I purchased new with 7 miles on it. It has a wind noise on the passenger side that you can't quite tell where it's coming from . We took it back to the dealership they told us that the air intake box to the cab is up against the firewall making the wind noise and they can't do anything about it. I had a 2018 GT that didn't have this issue at all.
anyone else had this noise? we were thinking door seals, etx.. dealership said no, it's the air intake box.
it's very annoying.

20 Redeye. Minor wind sound passenger door. Have your passenger lay a microfiber towel on the door panel at base of fully closed window near the defroster vent opening. 6-8” length. Move it forward then back. That’s where mine is. I plan to live with it due to minor nature and FEAR OF Dealer making it worse. Keep us posted.

Freeway speed.

Welcome to Challengertalk ;) When the 2014s had a TSB for wind noise, the issue was a gap at the window to what they called the window seal flag...the triangle piece
Vehicle Automotive lighting Motor vehicle Automotive tire Bumper

Now obviously that TSB doesn't apply, but look for that gap. Pushing in on that part with the window full up was the first part of the TSB

we are taking it to a different dealer to look at it, the one we purchased it from said its due to the air intake box being up against the fire wall on the passenger side whereas my 2018 was in a different location so my 18 didn't have the noise but the 22's do. I find it hard to believe that dodge would not correct this and let it go into production with all the 22's having this issue.

yeah that's why we thought we'd take it to another dealer and see,, then if nothing we will call Dodge customer service and see if they can help. i just find it hard to believe all 2022's make this noise due to the air intake box.

First of all, this is an excuse for the ages. If you lift up your hood, there is a plastic panel on top of the firewall on the passengers side. You squeeze 2 plastic clips to remove it. Below this panel is your cabin filter. The vents for the cabin filter are under the hood when it's closed. So there is NO way air is rushing into this cabin filter. Having a closed hood helps with that.
Just for giggles though, take off that plastic panel and look down at your cabin filter. I'm sure nothing is wrong.
I would have someone drive with you sitting in the passenger's seat. Maybe they can help you narrow this down. I'm thinking door or window weather-stripping.

My guess is that it is the passenger side front wind shield. There was a problem at the factory that didn't put enough varathane at the top of the windshield which can cause the wind noise you are talking about. It's not bad enough to cause it to leak with water but does let some air come in when doing highway speeds. Good luck and any good dealership should want to fix this for you no problem at all. The noise might even be coming from the bottom of the window too, anywhere they just missed putting enough varathane under it

If the above is correct, some correctly placed racers tape would work to test it...

I didn't say they all do just some. I had a 2021 before my 2022 came in and it had the problem with the windshield. They had to pull the windshield and put it back in with more varathane under it. It was fine after that.

oh no, I meant the dealership told us that all 2022 have this issue due to the air intake box being up against the firewall. We were like that's odd,, I am sure they just wanted us out of there. I had a 2018 and it was quiet. If the next dealership blows us off then we will call Dodge and see if someone else can look at it. We are rural and our dealerships aren't very good unfortunately. We don't feel any air, just hear it like something is not sealed :)
