I certainly hope that's not the case so I will remain patient. Money is money so it really shouldn't matter to Dodge where it comes from!

If any Canadian members are successful at placing an order please post that info here.

Based on history, Cdn orders will open late, the website likely won’t allow builds until January. This has been done before.
No rush, plenty to go around unless you are a “believer” of the rare last edition mentality that has some running around like chickens. Incentives will return and you will be able to negotiate at some dealers soon enough.

I checked with two Dodge dealerships here in Saskatchewan (one in Saskatoon and one in Regina) and they're saying they have zero info on the 2023 Challengers so far ... one fella wasn't even aware of the Horsepower Locator on Dodge Garage.

Par for the course across Canada. Most dealers don’t know much and salespeople know less than nothing. Around mid January when you can build them online is time to order.

I’ve spoken with a friend that is also a GM for Dodge dealer in Alberta and he said it’s going to be tough to get a 2023. He said it’s a 2-3% likelihood. He didn’t explain further and I’m not sure if he’s speaking out of knowledge or not. I know he sells a lot of Challengers so I’m assuming he knows a bit. What he did tell me is that I can order a 2022 Scat Pack widebody still, as long as I don’t want it in Smoke Show, Indigo Blue, or HellRaisin. He said they are still taking orders for 2022 Scat Packs and Hellcats, in standard or widebody.

So, I was holding out for a 2023 B5 Blue, but I guess I won’t risk not getting one at all and this week I’ll be ordering a Go Mango Scat Pack Widebody.

He would also let me order a B5 Blue from him if it’s possible in the next 2-3 months because he said he can sell the 2022 Go Mango easy enough.

I'll never understand the rational behind not being able to get a 2023. It's an ORDER....what the hell makes the difference to Dodge where the car ends up after it's built?

I'll remain patient for a little while yet. I'm only holding out for a '23 because of color selection, otherwise I'd order a '22.....or just move onto something completely different.

Well, went to put the order in today and the 2022 order window closed last night at midnight. So my GM friend called the dealer rep to find out if there can be an exception and it was an absolute no. But then the rep said that the dealer allocations for Canada are being posted in 7-10 days.

So maybe …

Nobody at the dealer level in Canada knows much. I’ve never met a salesperson or GM that knew more than I did. Usually they know less. My personal experience.

I have a 22 on order. What's going to happen to the 22 models that are not built. There are people in the US still waiting and they do better then us. With this whole allocation thing. I am half expecting mine to be cancelled. Mine is in DX (maybe that's BX) I cant remember status.
Its very disappointing at how Dodge is treating the Canadians, at least keep us in the loop.

I hope to buy a sublime Challenger scat pack wide body, no sunroof, automatic because I’ve had a manual before but open to a manual. If it doesn’t happen, I may buy a slightly used low mileage example in the future or stick to the classics.

The way Dodge dealers conduct themselves in Canada it may not happen, but you need to spend the time to find a good one.

Nice! I was originally planning a widebody T/A 392 M6 in Sublime but now I've switched gears and decided on a widebody Hellcat or Red-eye (if possible) in Sublime. I'll sell my current T/A 392 privately IF the new car ever materializes.....🙄.

there are a lot of 22 orders still out there. And only a monty ish left to build them. Im not holding my breath for mine. Mine has been BX also.
I tell you, if I was Canadian I'd be dealing with Ottawa to ask why my country, who has given FCA untold $$$ millions of kickbacks and incentives for decades, is allowed to treat it's citizens this way. It's a damn disgrace and demands a full investigation imho. Totally ridiculous. Has there been no coverage on this on TV or newspaper? Seems to me that would have been part of the deal to have the car factory built here, to allow it's citizens oh I don't know, to maybe actually buy a car they build here???

Well said Slidd. May I add we Canadians had been buying Dodge Caravans almost as a right of passage to familyhood, keeping it a best seller in Canada for decades.
Along with the kickbacks and incentives, don’t forget the bailouts. Yes Canadian taxpayers helped keep Dodge alive too.
Come on Dodge, come correct please.
