if you are talking the black rectangular tips they were on 22's also, i have the vin of the car that was at barrett jackson sporting them if anyone is interested. i was thinking of going with them but went with trackhawks.

Blacktop Special Edition is SXT and GT only and those tips attach to the fascia. The Hellcats have had black tips since 2015 though

Since its only the leading edge that shows, I would think the chrome edges would able to be painted black.

Have them powder coated. A well established local guy did ours for $80. Been on the car for 10 months and still look perfect. The trackhawks look awesome but are pricey and lots of Challengers are running them now so I held off.

Dirty has no barriers. A chrome or aluminum tip looks dirty when it IS dirty same as a black tip. Luckily this thread is about black tips and the people who prefer them.
