I'm ready to finally upgrade my tires so I can stop spinning all day on my 8" Classic wheels. I'm looking at going at Chrome demon wheels in 20x9.5 and 20x10.5. I thought about square stance 20x9.5s but I just don't think 275 will be enough meat in the back especially when I go boosted later this year.
Here's my questions:
Will a 285/30/20 fit up front?
Will a 315/35/20 fit out back?
Will the 315 be sticking out or fill perfectly in the fender?
Wheel offsets:
20x10.5- 22mm, Backspacing: 6.62-inch
20x9.5- 12mm, Backspacing: 5.72-inch

I think it depends on the tire you go with. I ran the nitto nt555 275 in front 315 in the rear. The rear tires were rubbing unfortunately, so I either had to run spacers or remove some of the plastic inner wheel well. I was impatient so just modified the wheel well, and the fitment was perfect. Hopefully that helps, the upgrade is well worth it! This was on a 2018 scat pack btw.

Yea I'm gonna run either NT555 G2 all around or G2 up front and NT05 in the back. I guess I'll just go with the 305s then to make it easier. Was it just barely rubbing with a 315?

yeah it was close, but not horrible. I also wanted to run the NT05’s, but since it’s my daily, I didn’t want to have to consistently replace the rears.

I'm running 20x9.5 +15mm offset on 275/35/20 front, 20x10.5 +25mm offset/10mm spacers on 315/35/20 rears. Tires are Michelin Pilot Super Sport, and let me tell you, they are a WIDE 315. Absolutely no rubbing out back. They do stick out beyond the rear quarter a bit. I'd say you will be fine going with a 315 Nitto since they run smaller, assuming you are fine using a spacer, but go 275 fronts. It also comes down to what brakes you have on your car, since I guess this affects clearance, too, which will definitely matter for the front not rubbing.

I've decided to just run 275 and 305, but one more question. I noticed my 255s just barely clear the control arms by a ¼ inch. Does anybody know the offset for the R/T Classic "Heritage" wheels? I couldn't find anything online. Just wanna make sure the new wheels have a little more offset before I order as I don't wanna use spacers.

Edit: or less offset, whichever one it is that will bring the tire away from the control arms.
