Anyone try the Chrysler 68172459AA which is listed as a 6.2L ‘Hellcat’ filter? Fram’s website lists it as a cross reference for the 3.6L so I wanted to double check before buying.

That's an air filter!
Of course it will fit. The filter sizes are the same for closed box intakes.
I thought it was an oil filter until I googled it.
I'd rather get an AEM, they're supposed to flow more.

Thanks for the prompt response. The AEM looks decent enough but if the Hellcat filter fits the 3.6L I’ll go that route.

Hellcat filter flows 21% more (887 vs 731) than the standard 3.6 filter but with the same 2.0 pressure drop and 98.5% efficiency.

Thx-Jim

Excellent. I work with filters daily, microns, pressure drop, flow, viscosity.
