5.7L 345 cid stroked to a 395 cid, high boost kit, the vehicle is already got an 8lbs magnuson supercharger set up we installed some time back, we will upgrade to 12psi, many of our builds will concentrate on the 5.7L simply because there is so many more R/T's than SRT"s

now im extremelly interested hopefull makes more power than the 392ci with the extra inches.. :D also keep us posted with the price range :)

in a high boost application, should be no reason to be near or at 599 hps and similar in torque

$2799.00 + shipping, add $499.00 for the main and cylinder head stud kit......

our engine builder has added a few tricks into this kit as well..... ;)

the idea is to build a very strong 5.7L based stroker capable of upper 500hps at the wheels combination, on a budget

That's just parts, correct? Approx how many hours of labor or cost? And would this be similar in price, out the door for a 426 or 440 stroked 392?

yes, just parts, cannot take a 5.7L to 426 or 440 size, the physical limitation of the block will not allow it, need to began with a 6.4L configuration

also going bigger than 426 with force induction isnt recommended....

there is somewhere around 60k SRT's made when there is 1.5million 5.7L Hemis,

the idea is the average guy thats a pretty good diy, can remove an engine, diassemble, take it to a compentent machine shop, perhaps let them assemble the short block,

reassemble, and get tuning and have lots more fun

real world scenario

not including supercharger or car

2995.00 for rotating assembly
500.00 for stud kits
500.00 6.4l camshaft
99.00 phaser locks
400.00 cometic head gaskets
500.00 assorted parts
300.00 unexpected issues
750 to 1250 machine shop
600 tuning

6644 to 7134 of course that doesnt include any labor, but a good tech, or a good diy should be able to get this done

of course if someone subletting all the work
labor to build the engine will probably reach 1k easily, re/re can easily be 2500 to 3500, etc

what we are trying to illustrate is simple, you can build a 600hps at the wheels engine on a budget, most engine builders will be in the 8 to 13k for an assembled long block, thats probably out of reach of most people, but 7k probably isnt

had some set backs waiting on machine shop, but going together now, our usual machine shop is too busy building race motors right now

been a while, we experimented with several different configuration

in the final version

5.7L Charger, engine stroked to a 395 cid, custom camshaft, high boost rotating assembly and a few other secrets

on the first real pull12.2 lbs of boost and nos, the stock nag transmission went into limp mode at 4500 rpms, 800hps and 840 ft/lbs of torque

could not keep the trans from going into limp mode, never made a full pull

detune dramatically

and ran
