Hello,

I picked up some 345 half covers. Looking at fitment and what needs to be trimmed. For those that have gone through the process, any recommendations on technique or specific bits for a dremel? Do you cut first then shave, or is the plastic soft enough that you can just grind down?

Thanks in advance.

pretty easy, in most cases less then 10 minutes we have them fitted here

auto or manual??

with auto will need to cut a slot approx 1 inch wide by 3 or 4 inches to allow the dip stick tube to fit in, depending on the model will vary, typically on 2015 and newer, unhook the ldp on the driver side and tie wrap the piece down beside the fuel rail, may need to relocate the hose on passenger side

Hi @stevewhite,

Yeah, I saw the video, but wasn't sure on best technique for cutting. I have a 2018 6M.
