Couldn't resist the local dyno day, loaded the hot rod on the trailer and kept this baby shiny today.

I have never even seen a dyno run except in video's, so this was quite the experience as I actually went first. Had a great time.

Seems like the factory version is not too far off from the cars they did all the testing on the last few months.

This car is going to be a blast!!

Nice! Keep in mind (from what I've heard anyway) you should see a slight horsepower torque increase after around a couple thousand miles as the engine gets fully broken in and the parts loosen up. I'm guessing if you take it back say after 5000 miles you might see around 425 rwhp.

The Red Letter Dodge car clocked up tons of miles on the tour.

Either way you're looking at around 480hp if you use the standard 15% loss! :D

Glad to see some real dyno numbers. It does seem that the 392 is producing more than the advertised numbers. Any idea what driveline loss percent is?

The dyno indicated 11.3% going by the advertised 470. If the loss is actually like 13-15% then this engine's putting out 479-490 at the flywheel. As you said, the numbers should get better after being broken in.

Yup, sorry, a typo. I took PWR_Brads stock run so 364 rwhp / 351 rwtq is a little bit better.

Rayzazoo, are these numbers from the same dyno? If so, Dodge is pretty dead-on on the "real" power differences.

Monster HEMI torque curve. Pulling over 300 ft/lbs at around 1600 rpm??? OMG...I can't wait.
