why would you trade? This thread has been quite entertaining.I have a 2011 5.0, currently considering trading up for a new 392. Just want to point out, the whistle in the last video could definitely be from the '11 GT - even the stock intake, when recording from the front, sounds like a turbo whistle at high RPM; with an aftermarket intake, the sound is even more prominent. Just a theory, but, it could be because the factory 'cold air' pickup tube in the front bumper is such a small diameter - it might be causing the high pitch suction sound.
^^ Yeah, that right there. My brother has a blown Cobra. It's fun for about 30 minutes. It's plain awful for any trip over 2 hours, the trunk is pretty much non-functional, the back seat is non-functional and the ride wears you out after 100 miles. The dood complaining about the weight of the Challenger is cracking me up. What did you expect in such a large comfortable car? Sat in a Mustang lately?
Well, my needs just kind of suit the Challenger. I don't go to the track (be it drag or auto-x, etc) and so the weight of the car really isn't a concern. I mostly like to cruise, make some noise when I want to, maybe have a little go-fast fun every now and then, etc. I tend to take a lot of road trips - I've driven from North Carolina to Canada quite a few times since getting my 5.0. The Challenger does all of the things I personally like to do better than the Mustang. The Mustang is beautiful, but lacks the physical presence of the Challenger, both in size and appearance. While my Mustang does just fine for long trips, the Challenger seats are just flat out amazing. Basically, while the Mustang is a blast to drive flat out, I think the Challenger just has more sex/cruise appeal.why would you trade? This thread has been quite entertaining.
There ya have it. I've driven my Challenger for 8-10 hours at a time and feel refreshed and rested when I arrive at my destination.
