im looking at a few local 392's and none have the f1's

will the car slip more? would 1/4 mile times be effected?

how much? is it so minor that its not worth worrying about?

I ordered mine without F1's just because they only last about 6K miles. I went with the standard tires based on the articles saying they couldn't keep the tires underneath it with F1's or drag radials. On the standard 245's I could blow them away in 1st and 2nd gear then finally hook in 3rd. However with that said I did find some very coarse payment and was able to hook in first gear. However I did replace my rear tires with 295/40/20's Eagle RSA's that match the front. They are almost two inches wider and about a 1/2 inch taller and fill the wheel well on a clone SRT8 20x10 wheel. See post for biggers shoes on this forum to see PIC's.

For the strip I will be getting some wrinkle wall slicks if I can find some 17 inch wheels that will clear the calipers. I've tried three sets of Cobra wheels and nothing fits so far. It appears the 2011 SRT8 has calipers that are a tad bigger than the 2010's.
