From MSN Autos:
Dodge Challenger 50th Anniversary
2020 will mark the 50th anniversary of the Dodge Challenger. The brand is looking to celebrate its famed muscle car in Los Angeles.
A total of 50 different Challengers will be on display, including original 1970 models.
Dodge is typically not shy about celebrating special anniversaries, as with the commemorative Charger Daytona announced earlier this year.
This makes it likely that the LA Auto Show will see a limited edition Challenger model announced to celebrate this 50th birthday.

Kinda hard to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Challenger when it has not been in continuous production since 1970...

Bout time, "Dodge notes this is the first time the Shaker will be available with a Widebody Challenger".
Not sure gold rims will look good on all 7 of those colors, but do like the color-matched shaker and satin hood.

The 50th Anniversary Edition features a startup animation on the Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC) screen that showcases the 2020 Challenger and unique white-faced gauges with yellow accents.

I'll take a Hellraisin' Widebody Shaker please. The nameplate "x of 70" is cool.

I think the color looks good. At least something different.

Not a big fan of the colored shaker, and I don’t think it looks right on a widebody either.

I’m in for gold or Sinamon my first choice. Limited editions may screw me out of buying again though as dealers have a moment of collector frenzy and jack the price. I guess when they are peddling 12-15 plus year old designs (Journey, Challenger, Caravan etc.) a badged, perceived “collector” demand excites them.

This happens on all limited edition ones in Canada. Has stopped me from buying at least 3 models in past.

Well that ends that. No widebody and only Go man go Scat Pack for Canada. Only 70 for all of Canada. Nice to look at online anyways and I’ll just redirect funds to my ‘70 GTX project. Which is what I should do anyways.

I'm with you johnny. I've been waiting for a gold, but think the 50 package will be too pricey for me. Plus I like the regular hoods. So a widebody SP with the new package will but what, in the 55k range now, ouch!

From Car and Driver Article:

The 50th Anniversary trim will cost $5995 if you order the R/T Scat Pack or R/T Scat Pack Widebody, $5495 if you get it with the regular R/T, and $4995 if you option it with the GT. Dodge says order books will open in December 2019, with first deliveries happening in early Spring 2020.
