This car has met or exceeded all of my expectations. Except for today -- 600 miles on vehicle, cruising along at 70 MPH, engine malfunction light came on. Checked gas cap -- on tight and 'O' ring still new. I only use top tier 93 octane gas. I went ahead and filled up at another top tier 93 octane station -- car runs great. I put an additional 50 miles on it hoping it would clear -- light is on constant, not flashing. Any ideas I can Check? Any way to clear the light so I can see if it comes back? Thanks!

I had the same happen to mine. I checked gas cap as you did. I took it to the dealership and they said it was running lean. They kept it for two weeks. They put a new PCU in it I got it back Friday and thr light came back on after I drove it about 60 miles. So it will be goin back first thing in the morning. My light came on over 700 miles. Hope your is not the same problem as mine. I love the car. I have always wanted one I just hope they get it figured out.

I had my ESP BAS light, tire pressue monitors go out, and lost EVIC, as well as turn signals. Happened at 367 miles. I happened to be on my way to the dealer. Turned out to be a bad fuse. We'll see if it happens again...

On my 392 #11 I had same prob just last night, I hit the odemetor button to reset it and it worked. Has not been on since then. I read somewhere in manual that after checking gas cap you have to manually push the Odometer reset. I hope it was just a loose cap.

The wiring harness has salt/corrosion inside the pin connectors. Clean them out thoroughly and add dielectric grease. There is apparently a 12V pin right next to the 02 pin, which is low voltage, and the corrosion causes bleeding between the pins. At least that's what was wrong with mine. SRT technician found the true cause after replacing the sensor with no improvement (light came back on).

Hey Guys, thanks for the input on this engine light fault. Mine came on last night with 1053 KM on it (about 655 miles). I will be taking mine in to the dealer to get them to check it out. This is the first dodge product I have ever owned and I was a little surprised that there were more people experiencing the same sort of issue.

On a much better note, I thought I would share that I took a round trip of about 800 KM on the hwy over the Easter weekend and got 9.4 l/100 KM (that's 30.05 miles/ imp gal or 25.02 miles/US gal)!! Super impressed with that kind of fuel mileage with a 6.4L HEMI.... maybe that's why the light came on eh! :bigthumb:
