I have a 2012 challenger rt 6 speed with a Barton short shift
I upgraded to a weight shift knob weighting 735g
It sat very slow so I used a lock nut to increase the weight of the knob
Now whenever I drive and I hit a hard bump
It would pop out of gear.
I was wondering if this has happened to anyone before.
i car has 190k km on it, had it since new and transmission fluid was changed twice with redline synthetic atf-4 at 130k km
Would this be a sign of a bigger issue or should I just lower the shift knob back to its original position
