I think I'll have to visit the Salt Flats before I'll ever be able to use 6th gear!
Its generally 1500 to 1700 cruising at 70 mph. That's the whole point of that gear so I don't think its rough on the carNo wonder, you're putting a hell of a strain on the motor and drivetrain cruising around at 1500 RPMS!
Exactly! Its generally 1500 to 1700 cruising at 70 mph. That's the whole point of that gear so I don't think its rough on the car
You obviously know more than the manufacturer, since according to the Owner's Manual, Recommended Shift Speed 5-6 is 48mph.The point of a 6th gear is so the car can do 180 MPH! Once again, you guys are putting alot of strain on the engine and drivetrain if your shifting into 6th at 70 MPH
Don't make me laugh, I'm giving you REAL WORLD advice! I have no reason to want you to think the car is one thing when really it's another(like the manufacturer, when it comes to things like money and emissions). You obviously know more than the manufacturer, since according to the Owner's Manual, Recommended Shift Speed 5-6 is 48mph.
Humor me....and I'll make you laugh again....Don't make me laugh, I'm giving you REAL WORLD advice! I have no reason to want you to think the car is one thing when really it's another(like the manufacturer, when it comes to things like money and emissions).
Example: Dodge says the engine makes 470HP, in the REAL WORLD, the engine makes around 530HP!
