went to fill up for the first time...i had researched gas stations and found one which does not use Ethanol in their Premium...i pull up and its 91 octane....i went across the street and their premium was 89 octane....went across the street again and Amoco was 93 octane w/ Ethanol

i dont think the car will run on 89 right?

and i assume will give better performance on 93 right?

anyone worry about Ethanol?

im going to start researching again to find a 93 w/o Ethanol

10% alcohol will not hurt your engine - Chrysler knows most of the country runs ethanol blends and designed the soft parts to handle it. It boosts the octane rating and the engine will make more power. 87 octane wont hurt your 392, it will just pull a bunch of timing and lose about 30 HP compared to 93 octane.

ethanol has been proven to be bad for small engines (lawnmowers)

and its also proven to give 10% less gas mileage

its proven garbage.....i know where to get 91 w/o it...now i just have to find 93 w/o
