I currently have an API Competition 400lph Drop in Fuel Pump. They are supposed to be good to 700hp.

My setup is a 2012 SRT Challenger 6.4 Nag1 D1SC Procharger at 10lbs Boost 650RWHP

The API handles this setup well and never had a problem but I am going to turn up boost a few lbs and get to 800RWHP.

Im really not wanting to do a complete fore setup as it is very costly and I want to keep things simple.

Has anyone used a BAP on an API pump 400lph. I imagine it would handle the BAP well and give me the extra fuel I need for the extra 150hp.

What are your thoughts on this? Suggestions?

I'm running the same pump on my car, in my opinion it's not even worth the risk to run a BAP on it. It will introduce a lot more heat and load on the pump which will just make it fail that much sooner. a $1200 fuel system is a lot cheaper than a $7000+ motor. Maybe you could make the 525lph walbro fit somehow? The best option would be just run the fore dual pump, but like you said it is pricey.

Just did some research, the Walbro 525 is identical in diameters as the 400, but 10mm longer(131mm vs 121mm). The 525 is good for 800whp all day long so it's exactly what you're looking for. And just worth noting the 450 is the exact same size as the 400.(50mm L.D. 39mm S.D. 121mm long). If it's not possible to make the 525 work then the 450 is your only option, you won't hit 800 but you could get close.
