Solo has the best exhaust for these cars. And no drone Bad a_s sound. Simply the best. Thare in the vendor section. Check them out
Sound is relative. To say it's the best for these cars doesn't make that so. Everybody has a different opinion on tone, volume, materials, tips, etc. I think it's awesome that you love your exhaust, but they may be the best, to you.

Personally I have the Borla (Mopar) catback and it's a good system if you want that loud deep tone, very similar to the stock exhaust but louder. I would still not classify it as an aggressive exhaust, but it sounds wicked at WOT. And yes people will notice you. I absolutely love the tips, and overall construction using full T304 stainless steel, not found in all systems. Mine does drone a bit, so not a system if you want drone free. I was going to go for Zoomers or MBRP, but I got a practically new Mopar (Borla) system for $700. I couldn't pass that up.

Good luck in search, and try to listen to them in person before you decide. Check the region subforums and see if anyone has the exhaust you are interested in.

I'm with renfrick. I have an 09 R/T 6sp and went with the solo. The fit and finish of the system is 1st class, you can't beat the price and most importantly it sounds incredible. I've posted this a couple of places now, the first time my wife heard it she said, that sounds like a race car - doesn't get much meaner than that. On top of all that, at cruising speed there is no drone at all. Literally no cabin noise and yet you see everyone's head turning when you go by as they hear the car. check out the threads in the solo section. Lots of vids with sound.

good luck on your search!

I agree with you....just installed the Borla Challenger exhaust on an SRT8 and it sounds perfect. I did not notice any drone on my car but my ears are not as good as they used to be ;)

Video is here.....

Very nice before/after video. I wish I had done that. My factory ones didn't cut it so I got the Mopar/Corsa. Doesn't make the neighbors made but sure gets attention when you want it. If you want it loud all the time, check into some others beside Borla, Corsa, although I haven't heard the Corsa extreme. (I do know the Mopar/Corsa is very expensive = ouch!)

I have Zoomers on my R/T and I think you would love the sound based on what you say you're looking for. There are some good videos on Youtube and it just so happens that Zoomers is running a sale now: 20% off and free shipping. Deadline for sale is April 15th.

I have the flowmaster American Thunder on my 2010 R/T. Very aggressive, some drone around 2k but sounds mean. Turns heads everywhere. Not bad if your not looking to drop a grand. got mine for about 460

I just bought my 2011 R/T about a week and a half ago. All I did was have the "Suitcase" resonator/mufflers removed. Had some straight pipe fabbed up from the stock mufflers to the stock tips. Sounds great and didn't break the bank. No inside drone, but it definitely has a noticeable sound differeance. The stock muflers have a straight through design, similar to that of a Magnaflow muffler.

I have 2010 R/T installed flow master American thunder exhaust system. Sounds great outside sometimes the drone inside is a bit much. Was trying to find a fix for it, no luck yet. Called flow master but no luck.

Flowmasters 50 Series

I removed the suitcase muffs and deleted the resonators and installed Flowmasters 50 series. it has a deep growl. Some people say go with the expensive cat back exhaust systems, here is my 2 cents!! You are getting the same as the expensive cat back exhaust systems if replacing the muffs with any type of good muff. You are letting the engine breath, which I have also heard that our Hemi's need some back pressure? Well I say go with what you like, enjoy your ride.

I have the CORSA XTREME, i have been very impressed with it's performance and sound. I constantly get compliments on the sound.
I never spun the tires before i had it installed, now I spin them without trying. It sounds great and has added significant HP.
I have a 2010 SRT so not sure how it would be on the R/T but can't imagine that it wouldn't be equally as impressive.

Believe me, it is... And I have the Mopar/Corsa that is not the extreme. I couldn't believe the difference. Love it!!

I'm also looking for a exhaust, going to be looking for one less then 800~ so I'm checking a lot as well. Everything from blastin bobs, to the american thunder. So far havent really seen anything that seals the deal. Any other suggestions aside from the already mentioned ones are welcome

If $800 is your budget I would go with the Dynomax catback exhaust. The Dynomax comes with the ultra flow mufflers, which are awesome! Solo is another good system for around the price you're looking for. Both systems are T409 stainless. If you want a full T304 you'll have to pay more than $800. Here is a clip of the Dynomax system on our cars:

Sounds perfect to me!

I had mine remover at the local muffler shop. Total cost was $80. Welded the stock tips back on, and the car sounds great. I have the 6 speed so the system is different from the automatic guys, I hear they get some drone. Stock system has a nice set of high flow mufflers with 2.5 inch pipe. Have to say I'm pleased.
