for the v8 with dual exhaust can you just use one sensor or do you need to read both sides?

Wideband gauges are supplied with a harness that a sensor for one bank. You will need to install/weld an O2 bung for the sensor.

so you can get away using one bank only?

Yes, one bank will be sufficient. Do the driver's side as that is where cylinder 1 is.

Yes the Interceptor will read boost from the MAP sensor and automagically convert the MAP reading to PSI for you. This assumes your MAP sensor can see boost which if you have a blower installed it would have to in order to be tuned correctly.

I've checked my Interceptor reading MAP to my mechanical boost gauge and they're very close so it is accurate.
