I Have an 09 SRT8 and I'm debating on whether to add coilovers or an air ride suspension system. Can anyone help point me in the right direction and why?

If you have the time and money, I would go air ride. On the fly adjustability and getting it right where you want it.

Coil-overs are much cheaper of course, but you kind of need to set it and forget it.

Coilovers, unless....

...you already have a blower. The airbags are almost as expensive. Get power first. If you can afford the airbags, you probably already have the more important things like "STOPTECH" Brakes, and strut tower braces, Forged Internals, race axle, performance CAM/Intake. Yep. If you have all that...buy them (unless you are a "Low Rider.")
