I just got a Automate AM1 alarm installed in my challenger yesterday. The problem or issue i have is that i uses the horn and the chirp when you lock or unlock the car. Now usually people dont want the horn but I really dont like that a muscle car has some high pitched chirp when I unlock / lock the car. To me it doesnt really match it lol. Anyway is there a way to make the horn act as the "chirp"? One horn for lock and 2 for unlock sorta thing. Checked around to see how to program the AM1 system and you can turn off the chirp, but then it doesnt say how to replace it with the horn. Right now the horn and the chirp sound when i lock it and it is kinda annoying.
