While searching for alternators on a nationwide auto recycler, I found that the Challenger 3.6L Pentastar engine comes with a 160 Amp alternator, but the Dodge Durango (same engine) came with a 160, 180 or a 220 Amp Alternator.

Does anyone know of all of these sizes on the Durango will fit "plug-n-play" on a Challenger 3.6L engine? Seems like Dodge wouldn't want 3 different mounts and 3 different electrical connectors. Anyone have knowlege about this? I'd like to get a 220 Amp alternator if it is plug-n-play on my Challenger.
