It also effects the hemi's over the last 3 months my challenger has been in and out of the shop today being the 3rd time for the check battery light that was randomly coming on. First time they said it was the clip on the alternator, 2nd it was the bolt some how was loose. Finally this last time a new TSB about the alternator so they replaced it with a newer version presumably coninciding with the recall. The alternator has a different design I can visually see this as of today with the new one in. Problem seems to be solved, though after all the issues I've had 7 different case numbers since taking ownership of my 100th anniversary challenger back in Nov 14. Windshield replaced, scratches fixed, steering wheel bezzle replaced, tire replaced, rim replaced, trunk repainted, part of the hood reptained, and also the battle to get the challenger sill plates. Ironically at the end of all of this assuming the alternator does finally fix the issue for good. The head sales manager heard of my issues today and told me they would give me a new challenger. Mine only has 2.8k miles on it 600 roughly just from trips to the dealer. Who btw has been amazing at doing everything to get the car as it should have been at delivery. I told him I would think about it 2 problems finding another 100th anniversary in GCM with a 6spd and stp probably impossible. Secondly I completely dislike the the 15's so even stepping up to something similar like a 392 scat pack as a consolation prize would still have the rub of not being my 100th.
