thats a little strange, we routinelly go up to Grandfather Mountain and Chimney Rock in NC, both in the 4 to 5k feet elevation, i live in Mountain View which is at 900 feet elevation and have not experience any issues with altitude, on new install we normally drive the cars to Black Mountain during our roadtest, not sure what elevation, but have never had an issue, at least a thousand feet climb and drop

make sure its a 2 bar, when you wot the pedal it should force the baro to reset, our guess is the map is bad and not changing, the reason why it resets after an extended battery disconnect, sorry, never encountered this issue before, i routinely drive up to Grandfather or Chimney Rock, approx 5k+ feet elevation, my home is at 900 feet and have never experience any issues, we also roadtest new supercharger install up to Black Mountain, not sure what the elevation is, except that my ears plug up for about 5 minutes....lol
