Hey guys!

Been a while since I last posted so ive come to ask for help on a transmission fluid change.

The question is, is it needed to flush the fluid from the torque converter too when changing to a different brand fluid?
Or its not needed?
I will be doing a transmission flush before this using Amsoil also.

I have bought 8 quartz of Amsoil ATF signature series fluid as per the website.

I'd like to do the full transmission fluid drain so is there a way to drain the fluid from the torque converter or its not necessary to do that??

Let me know, cheers!

If this is the 8 speed ZF Torqueflite I plan to drain/fill. Will do in 5 years or 50k. The complicated procedure on youtube could never be done by a dealer. Temperature changes and running on a lift. No way.
